We doing it!
Hey there, party people! How’s everyone doing today? I’m thrilled to be here, sharing my thoughts and experiences with all of you. Today, I find myself on a friend’s 40-acre property, immersed in the beauty of nature and the pursuit of self-sufficiency.
As I stand inside an earth bag structure on this vast property, I can’t help but marvel at the commitment to becoming more self-sufficient and self-sustaining. The journey involves constructing structures like the one I’m in, with plans to make it even better. We still have a roof to put on and a few more finishing touches, but it’s all part of the learning process.
Being here is more than just witnessing a work in progress; it’s a reflection on our impact on the environment. With the ongoing strain on our surroundings, it’s essential for all of us to pause, self-evaluate, and consider our priorities. Personally, I’m taking this time to reassess my own priorities, and it’s a transformative experience.
I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to contribute to the upkeep of this property, taking care of animals, running the tractor, and engaging in various activities. The scenic views are breathtaking, and it’s a reminder of the delicate balance we must maintain between progress and preserving the beauty of our surroundings.
In the midst of this natural haven, I can’t help but express my concerns about the future. Will this place continue to be as beautiful as we strive for more and push the limits of our environment? It’s a question that warrants contemplation and responsible action.
This journey is not just about me; it’s about sharing stories and experiences with all of you. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be posting videos of my interactions with my ferocious, yet lovable pit bull, undergoing training to be a service dog. Witnessing the transformation of this amazing breed brings a unique perspective on the positive contributions they can make.
So, thank you for taking the time to watch this video and join me on this incredible journey. Your support means the world to me.
